Restoration Projects:

This garden was stuck in the last century, with foundation plantings so overgrown you could barely see the beautiful house from the street. The large junipers by the front door and lower branches of the large pine tree on the lawn were removed (with the help of my son and husband), the mugho pine and dogwood were cut back but left in place...

This patio, part of a beautifully landscaped yard, was overgrown with moss and weeds, giving it a neglected look.  A power washer and polymer sand restored it to its former glory...

This garden lacked scale and shape as well as a variation in plant height and color...

The hot and dry conditions of this front garden required new, drought tolerant plantings to work with rather than against them...

This garden just needed a bit of TLC to get it cleaned out and reshaped...

This client loves to putter in his garden, but was having a hard time telling the plants from the weeds.  The large garden lacked a variety of plant shape, height and color.  The ornamental trees, shrub roses vines, perennials and bulbs are now matured to full size...

The owner of this garden asked me to prune and shape the overgrown, brown-tipped yews at her front entrance...

This was a project I took on as a birthday gift for my sister when I went to visit her in Texas. She wanted something drought and heat tolerant that is easy to maintain. By the way, the beautiful pink plant in the pot on her patio is a dwarf bottle brush.

this client already had a beautiful garden in her front yard, but wanted to make it larger and less labor intensive.  The stone edging was removed and a garden hose used to establish a new, curvier shape. The homeowners removed the unwanted sod and added the soil and mulch to the new bed, saving considerable time on my part and money on theirs...

When this project was complete, the clients asked me to spruce up their garden bed at the front window and the ones at the entranceway to their home.  Please stay tuned for more pictures next season...

This client has a beautiful, large backyard, with a garden around the perimeter.  Although the garden was planted with trees with soil and mulch added, the weeds had taken over...

It took pretty much all season to get rid of the weeds.  Obviously there were weed seeds in the mulch and or soil that had been used in the garden.  Once I had a handle on the weeds, perennials were planted between the trees.  Next season they should be filled in nicely.  Please check back for an update next season...

This client has a beautiful pie shaped lot in a small subdivision. Previous owners paid a fortune to have it landscaped to include stonework paths and patios surrounding numerous flower beds. The stonework was not properly grouted, however,so over the years the rocks shifted causing cracks which quickly filled with weeds.  My job has been to restore it to its former glory. A power washer and polymer sand restored the stonework walkways and patio.  The gardens are still a work in progress.  Please check back next season for an update....
